'New era' in physics as world's biggest particle smasher cranks up

Geneva (AFP) - Scientists on Wednesday hailed a "new era" in their quest to unravel more mysteries of the universe as the world's biggest particle smasher started experiments with nearly doubled energy levels in a key breakthrough.

The tests at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) came after a sweeping two-year revamp of the collider and will help scientists to study fundamental particles, the building blocks of all matter, and the forces that control them.

During its next run, researchers will look for evidence of "new physics" and probe "supersymmetry" -- a theoretical concept informally dubbed Susy; seek explanations for enigmatic dark matter and look for signs of extra dimensions.

Wednesday's collisions of 13 teraelectonvolts (TeV) followed a muscling of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), used in 2012 to prove the existence of the Higgs Boson -- which confers mass and is also known as the God particle.

CERN said everything went according to plan at the giant lab, a 27-kilometre (17-mile) ring-shaped tunnel straddling the French-Swiss border.

During what it dubbed as its "Season Two", the LHC will in the course of the next three years strive to fill gaps in the so-called "Standard Model" -- the mainstream theory of how the visible Universe was created but which does not explain dark matter.

"It is time for new physics!" declared CERN's outgoing director general Rolf Heuer.

"We have seen the first data beginning to flow. Let’s see what they will reveal to us about how our universe works," he said.

Unlocking nature's secrets

"It's not going to happen tomorrow, be patient," he said, as scientists monitoring the event broke into sustained applause and uncorked champagne.

On May 20, the LHC broke the record for energy levels colliding protons at 13 TeV -- or 99.9 percent of the speed of light -- for the first time.

The LHC's previous highest energy for collisions was eight TeV, reached in 2012 before it closed for the upgrade.

"The collisions we are seeing today indicate that the work we have done in the past two years to prepare and improve our detector has been successful and marks the beginning of a new era of exploration of the secrets of nature," said Tiziano Camporesi, a spokesman for the project.

The LHC was used to prove the existence of the Higgs Boson, a discovery that earned the 2013 Nobel physics prize for two of the scientists who had theorised the existence of the Higgs back in 1964.

The LHC allows beams containing billions of protons to shoot through the massive collider in opposite directions.

Powerful magnets bend the beams so that they collide at points around the track where four laboratories have batteries of sensors to monitor the smashups.

The sub-atomic rubble is then scrutinised for novel particles and the forces that hold them together.

One teraelectronvolt is roughly equivalent to the energy of motion of a flying mosquito, CERN says on its website.

But within the LHC, the energy is squeezed into an extremely small space -- about a million, million times smaller than a mosquito. It is this intensity which causes the particles to be smashed apart.

"It will allow us to follow up on puzzles from our Run 1 studies, and to probe with higher sensitivity the difference in behaviour between matter and antimatter," said Guy Wilkinson, a spokesman for one of LHC's four experiments.

Ordinary, visible matter comprises only about four percent of the known universe.

There is believed to be five to 10 times more dark matter, which together with equally mysterious dark energy accounts for 96 percent of the cosmos.

As part of the two-year recommissioning process, LHC engineers successfully introduced two proton beams, the source material for sub-atomic smashups.

With the upgrade, the LHC can potentially be cranked up to a maximum 14 TeV.

“ … Physicists say that electrons spin. They don't, and they can't. There's no surface on an electron, since they are energy. They don't spin, but instead have an electronic potential. Every single particle on this planet, everything you can see, all things in this Universe, are created with polarity. This is new information now. All things are created with polarity, and they're designed to be self-balancing. And because of the polarity of what you would call plus and minus, they move and try to balance themselves within a field - all things, both physical and other.

However, all polarities are prone to be biased by what I will call peer pressure. Electrons that carry (or spin with a polarity) of what you would call a certain kind of charge - we'll call it positive - are drawn to those that are negative so that they will null themselves out. They seek each other out to create the null of balance. They seek to be balanced, and if they are not, they are not happy. I use this word only to emphasize the condition of a particle of physics that does not find its balance. Even the unscientific can appreciate this.

But even with atoms, there are not always matched pairs of electrons, since there is no atomic rule that says that electrons will always be created in even numbers. So there will often be what I will call the odd one out and when that happens, the entire atom will then be charged positively or negatively, depending upon the odd one out. When this happens, this atom will seek out another atom, which has an odd one out of an opposite charge. That has a name: Magnetism. I've just explained magnetism. Now, science knows part of that already. What they have not realized yet, however, is that all things have a duality. They suspect it and there are theories that will show it soon enough, and I've given it to you today because it always has existed in someone's mind.

So from the very smallest to the very biggest, even the galaxy has duality. At the center of your galaxy, what you call the black hole, is a quantum push/pull engine, and I'm going to tell you in a minute why it's that way.

Here is a big question, and I will answer it right now. Why does everything have a polarity? Why would it be created this way, even down to the electron? The smallest thing, even to what you call the Higgs Bosen [God Particle] and the quarks, they all have polarity. There isn't a piece of nature that you're going to find that doesn't have polarity. Why? I will tell you why: Physicists will laugh. Not in ridicule, but in agreement. If it were not this way, the Universe would be a dull, boring place to be. Because, by creating a duality in every single particle, you create an active Universe that is self-balancing and is never at rest. If it were not this way, it would be static, unchanging, and non-creative. Therefore, without polarity, there would be no life. Life is created by having a duality, a polarity in atomic particles. Life is that which is necessary for the Universe to exist. There's no reason for physics without life - and you thought it was the other way around, didn't you? Life was an accident on one planet. Oh, how 3D of you! Life is the DESIGN...…”

"..... The Only Sustainable Quantum Energy on the Planet

Let me take you to an experiment over a decade ago. Two men in Scotland were involved - a physicist and a medical doctor. The medical doctor is Dr. Todd Ovokaitys, my partner's colleague. What a coincidence these two men of science met in this lifetime [Kryon smile]. The physicist and the medical doctor were the first to co-develop a sustainable, coherent, controllable, repeatable, quantum event. That is to say, they have an invention that creates quantum energy that can be sustained, repeated, and used. They've done it by opposing laser energies out of phase through what we would call a quantum holographic lens arrangement. An actual shift of time occurs and that coherent quantum soup, although very small, is controllable and can be repeated, manipulated, and delivered where they want it to go.

Now, they're not the first Humans on the planet to create quantum energy. But they're the first ones to create one that is designed and repeatable. The first Human to create quantum energy was Nikola Tesla. He couldn't control it, but he knew it was there and had seen it over and over within his magnetic experiments.

What the physicist and the doctor did over the next decade showed the quantum factor, for they then applied this designed quantum soup that they had invented to biology. Every time they imbued this energy into a biological test or experiment, they got healing! Think of it. What are the odds that you would develop some kind of an energy on the planet and wherever you pointed it, it healed? What are the odds of that? It's like rolling six and then six and then six. Are you starting to see a pattern?

When this quantum energy is able to be reproduced in other laboratories, there will be those (and there always are) who will try to weaponize it. Here is something you should know: It will be the first energy every discovered that won't allow this. It can't be weaponized because it is benevolent. Imagine, a quantum energy that's just simply physics, but which has an attitude! What does that tell you? It should show you that there's something going on within high physics that is more than math and attributes of matter.

In time, the quantum factor will be discovered on this planet. When it is, it will be highly controversial, and it's going to fly in the face of logic and 3D and the way things work via the scientific method. The ramp-up to all this is difficult. The old souls in front of me have signed on to work this new energy and they've waded through lifetimes, just waiting for this. What would you do as a scientist if the experiments before you had "a mind of their own"? What would you think if magnetics, gravity and light could only be assembled in a certain way that created healing and never a destructive alignment? All this is going to redefine some of the basic forces in the Universe. Intelligent design is only the first, and even today many astronomers and physicists still think it's an anomaly. 

That will be the next largest discovery on the planet. It's been held back from you because it takes a higher vibrating consciousness to create and understand it. When any planet discovers a quantum energy and is able to use it, you could go to that planet and know that you will meet high-consciousness entities. This has never been given to you before that, for within the quantum factor contains the secret of interplanetary travel using large, entangled states. There are ways of doing things you never thought could happen. You can throw away your rocket ships. You're on the edge of that.. ..."
