A team of
Dutch research students and energy firm Nuon have won this year's World Solar
Race across Australia with their Nuna7 solar-powered car.
The Delft
team was in close competition with the Japanese Tokai project, which has taken
the title for the past two years. This is the fifth time the Delft students
have won the race.
The solar
cars have to travel the 3,000 km from Darwin to Adelaide through the middle of
Australia.
Twente
