COPENHAGEN, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Danish wind-turbine manufacturer Vestas has signed a contract for delivery of 149 megawatts to a wind-energy project in Canada, the company announced Monday.

The contract entails delivery of 83 wind-turbines of the V90-1.8 MW type totalling 149 MW, the company said. It includes a 10-year service and maintenance agreement, with delivery scheduled for autumn 2012, and commissioning expected in late 2012.
